TrueNAS: Should I or should I not ? Get a trueNAS Mini Core system? (Support for a newbie).

Have an old ZFS NAS:
I am considering getting a Mini Core system to replace it. However;

• I have zero knowledge of FreeBSD.
• I cannot dedicate 2 weeks to learn all the intricacies of freeBSD ...etc. or writing scripts left & right...
• Will the community support be enough to get by?
  • help/advise (for an example) put a FreeBSD/Linux GUI to copy the data from the old to new NAS for an example? (probabiy/possibly faster than using an indirect SMB intermediate client PC).
  • Other unexpected issues or questions, connectivity ...etc....

What is the community's advice" Should I go ahead, or should I pass?
