Hello everyone,
I was wondering who can help me understand permissions. I have 2 TrueNAS systems, let's say Box A and Box B.
Box A originally had TrueNAS core on there which was updated to Scale not long ago, while on Core I was able to join the domain and set permissions using AD groups without any issues and no Linux system accounts such as built-in users would be in the ACL as shown here:
Box B, however, has only had TrueNAS Scale on there and when I joined it to the domain and configure the datasets it already has inputting some default ones in along with ones from our domain
However, I don't want those AD groups to be granted any permissions so when I remove them from the dataset and go to create a child dataset I get the following message:
How do I get around this? Is there something obvious I'm missing?
