Truenas Scale>Nextcloud>Recognize App HELP

Yes, I have been using Nextcloud on Truenas core for the last 3 yrs. and when it's working it's just wonderfull, I just wish it was easier to maintain.

Apps that require complex setups, I prefer to run in a jail or VM for easy manageability.

Anything simple like Uptime-Kuma can run in an app on TrueNAS SCALE.

Ive been struggling with Truenas Scale and Nextcloud for a few days now. After reading all the solutions to get occ to run, and I still haven't reliably, I'm pulling the plug. It may have a future but right now it is too cumbersome to make things work. I have four Truenas core machines setup and been running since freenas 11. One is my test system for a home lab with Nextcloud for family to post and share whatever, so I thought Scale would be nice to try there.
I will be overwriting Scale with Core this evening, run Dan's Scripted install of Nextcloud and go back to set it and forget it, other than updates periodically.
