TrueNAS Scale: How on earth do I let the resilio app have permissions to write to directories used by other apps

I transcode my own media, and I'm trying to make it more automatic with TrueNAS scale. I want to be able to drop the transcoded media in my sync folder on my workstation and have it sent to my NAS via resilio sync. Resilio needs to be able to write to plex and audiobookshelf directories or whatever else I want. It seems like such a simple thing, but I have not found a way yet. Do I need to run a basic Linux distro instead of TrueNAS to do something so simple?
