TrueNAS Scale Error documentation

hey there, I'm new to TrueNAS (Scale) and am naturally coming across a variety of errors while trying to set everything up (I haven't got very far).

Instead of having to describe my problem in the Google search bar and coming across a few forum-posts that have nothing to do with my problem, I would like to simply search for the Error in the docs and see what might be a solution.

Is there any sort of general error index or register that I can use to do that? Googling for something like that hasn't gotten me anywhere, but Google-results have been pretty bad in the recent past anyway, so that might not mean anything.

No list of error messages. TrueNAS systems rely on motherboards, BIOS, Linux kernel, Debian, ZFS, SSD & HBA firmware, NICs and drivers, Samba, TrueNAS middleware... each layer has its own messages.

Your best bet is to keep doing what you have been doing, use a search engine like Google, enter "TreuNAS" and a part or all of your error message. The tricky part is just putting in enough of the error message that makes sense. This is what I do and it works fairly well. But if you do not find anything that way, post a question in the forums, if someone has seen it before then you are apt to get a response.

Something else, depending on your error message, you might not use TrueNAS and instead if you know it's Debian then use that. Unfortunately that usually requires some prior knowledge about this kind of stuff, but if you had an error message that said "smb error [17280]: transfer of data interrupted by int22" (I made this message up completely), but I would search "smb error transfer data int22".
