Greetings,

I am presently operating TrueNAS 13 on an Intel® Xeon® CPU E5-2680 0 @ 2.70GHz, featuring approximately 100TB of storage. I am contemplating a transition towards a hybrid model, with 10-20TB of local storage for recent downloads, supplemented by rclone's unlimited Google Drive capacity for the remainder of my library.

Could anyone provide insights or share experiences on the performance of the Intel Core i9-13900K with TrueNAS Scale, particularly when used with Plex and hardware transcoding?

Thank you.

13th Gen is not yet fully supported by the curren Kernel that scale uses. That goes for the cores (p and e) as well as the igpu. For full Support Kernel Version 6.0 or 6.2 IS needed and scale uses 5.25 or Something Like that. The next Kernel Update ist planned for the next big Update of scale called Cobia later this year.
