I saw this post and I wondered if anyone would be able to help me.

I ran into the same problems as the user asking the question. And when connecting with vpn I can access my truenas server on the assigned ip 192.168.2.164
But I can't seem to access other services running on the truenas server. For example plex running on 192.168.2.174
I added as suggested by @Patrick M. Hausen a static route
