TrueNAS on Tiny PC

Hi,

I want to downgrade my TrueNAS system since I do not need so much CPU power (AMD 3900) and I want to reduce my electricity bill.
I have at home laying around old HP EliteDesk 800 G2.
It has 32GB of RAM, but only one SATA port.
Since it has MiniPCIe slot for wireless I am assuming, I can stick MiniPCIe to PCIe adapter to it and LSI 9300 adapter to it.

Will this work? Any other idea how to run FreeNAS on this tiny PC?

One SATA slot? I suppose that's a "Tini Mini Micro"
How are you going to secure and cool the HBA and drives? And power the drives?

Better forgot this idea…
A NAS is mostly idle. If the CPU idles at low power, reducing the number of spinning drives is the most effective way to reduce power draw.

Reminds me of this...

If you want to go small and not engineer a disaster for yourself, follow that advice.
