TrueNas Network install on Qnap TS-431XeU

Hi
firstly I do NOT care about the data on the qnap I have Backup files on disk
I have a ubiquity network setup including a TS-431XeU & a usb connected TR-004U backup Rack mounted NAS with 8GB memory
Looking at doing a Network core12 install onto a small SSD (trueNas) Booting from a USB stick to install, both connected to the qnap with a 10GBE network connection If Possible
any info or not possible advice would be appreciated prior to trying this
another option is possibly a usb stick boot using the SSD & Qnap by connecting a display & monitor Also via USB ports on the Qnap But would be Short 1 USB for a Pointer
Totally a newbie but not afraid to try it with guidance from TrueNas users
happy to here other options/suggestions
the install should be easy just unsure if it can be done this way?

I don't think you can
I THINK you need a video card - so you can plug a monitor in and then use a keyboard (USB) to change the BIOS boot settings

No video on the back of that one.

What you MIGHT be able to do is open the unit up, find the boot module (possibly an eUSB) and replace (or remove) that with a similar unit. You MAY then be able to boot from USB to install TN on either the replacement eUSB or on another USB

I do use a QNAP as a TrueNAS box - but it isn't ideal and I do it mostly for fun

The TS-431XeU is running ARM.

Annapurna Labs Alpine AL-314 quad-core 1.7 GHz processor

TrueNAS will not run on ARM.

Problem is QNAP QTS is plagued with hard coded credentials and vulnerabilities.

That is precisely why I excommunicated QNAP QTS from my home and installed TrueNAS on my existing QNAP hardware.
