Hi,
Can anyone recommend a step by step guide to configure a network with static IP addresses? I've done a bit of online research however, what I have found is confusing.
Thanks.

Why are you posting in the legacy releases section of the forum? You are running a current version of TrueNAS, aren't you?
What precisely is your problem?

Oh, I didnt realise I posted in a legacy section. Yes I just upgraded a few hours ago to the latest release.

I have a 10 year old router that I have configured with DHCP and static IP addresses for certain network devices e.g. my server/NAS box. I keep getting intermittent issues where the NAS box will completely disappear and the only way to get it back is by rebooting the NAS box. Based on the forums I have read, it could be an issue with the router given how old it is. Additionally, I have read it's better to have the server configured with DHCP and control the network devices. So with that said, I wanted to disable DHCP on my router and configure it on my server however, I'm a little confused with how to do that and I was looking for a step by step guide to help. Does that make sense?
