TrueNAS (latest) installs but wont boot

I read some of the other posts none seemed to clear this up. I had a working TrueNAS on a Samsung 840 EVO (no HBA), but I broke the connector by accident. I had another Samsung 850 EVO, but after install (ALL UEFI) the system can't find the boot drive. I tried the install with nothing else connected, and every BIOS option I could think of. Hoping you all might have some thoughts?
