Quick and hopefully easy question about using authenticated time services (such as the service provided by the National Institute of Standards and Technology). I use this service with my firewalls, network devies and other servers to be help thwart potential NTP hacks and be that much surer that all my devices are keeping the same time. FreeNAS (and I suspect TrueNAS) come pre-configured with three ntp.org servers, which may be fine. On the FreeNAS System->NTP Servers page, one can edit server names and IP addresses, and a few other NTP-releated parameters. But I don't see a way to pass an authentication key for authenticated NTP. Is there a reasonably straightforward way to accomplish this?
