Truenas DNS Query

Truenas is querying update.ixsystems.com every 10 seconds after update to TrueNAS-SCALE-23.10.1.3. It is blowing up my dns logs. I have already created a host rule of 127.0.0.1 ix-truenas and 127.0.0.1 truenas.com and it still seems to have the issue. In previous releases this fixed the issue but it is not working now.

Every 10 seconds? That is just a bit excessive... Can you open a bug ticket and debug with us to investigate? We need to understand why this is occurring.

What do you need from me? here is a log of my dns server. I use pihole. This is obviously from just now. Since 12 it has made 10500 querys
