TrueNas Core

Hey,
im from Germany and working for an IT-Company.

I would like to know if I can offer services for corporate customers with TrueNas Core and can get money from it?Or is this not allowed, cause i read the Eula and can't find that point.

Disclaimer: I am not a lawyer. You should get an opinion from a lawyer in Germany specializing in this field.

TrueNAS Core, like FreeNAS before it, is released under the BSD 2-clause license. I don't see anything in the license preventing you from offering value-added services on top of TrueNAS Core for profit, but the license doesn't allow liability to pass through to TrueNAS for any deficiencies of the software.

Also, the EULA you probably read is for TrueNAS Enterprise, which is a different product altogether from TrueNAS Core. Enterprise is actually delivered pre-installed on hardware TrueNAS produces for sale.
