Truenas Core R12.0U8 to R13 network throughput bug

I recently upgraded from R12.U81 to R13 and had to roll back to R12.0U8 because of network speed issues.
The manual upgrade worked smoothly
I have 3 bhyve virtual machines running.

Everything is technically working however the throughput for the virtual machines has dropped to max 5Mbps
If there is a known issue here, hoping someone can point me to it.
I've had a hunt through the R13 forum however I could not locate a similar thread/case

Since the throughput was +1gbps before and now 5mbps and nothing has changed in the build setup, I am assuming this is specific to the R13 networking setup.

I do have a number of tunables turned on, and I am assuming these may be related to / not required in R13

any feedback from anyone on what is needed to identify the forwarding issues for VLAN/Bridged traffic here?

Tools for reporting issues here are pretty limited and if you have any recommendations I am open to them.
I was going to look to enabling some level of logging on the network stack but it's not super clear what parts parts are appropriate for BHYVE

No config changes and otherwise a smooth upgrade.
Thanks.. I think this is enough info to report a bug. Please document the bug-ID if you do.
With major changes to the underlying OS.... things can slip in that need resolution. Functional testing is much easier than performance testing.
If anyone else experiences a similar issue.. please note it here.

Confirmed zero config changes and complete smooth upgrade.
I'll open a bug and assist in reproducing this on my system if needed.

I also have noted a degradation in FreeBSD jail network performance. Upgraded from R12-U8.1 to R13 with no issues during the update process. With R12 I would get better than 900Mbps transfer speed doing an scp ssh file copy from a jail. With R13 I max out at less than 300Mbps on scp file copies.
