Heads up, that a minor update to TrueNAS 12.0-U5.1 went out today. This is a hot-fix release which improves some performance of the middleware and user-interface for systems with large disk counts. As always we appreciate feedback, and happy updating!

Upgraded three systems remotely via VPN. I like to live dangerously.

Keeping up with the tradition of a .1 release for every single update in the 12.0 train, I see

Seriously, I appreciate the work. Thanks.

The mem leak and python crash issue was resolved in U5.
U5.1 resolved some UI performance issues when managing more drives.
It was low risk and provided significant benefits to some larger users.

Can you be more clear and document what the system is saying about RAM. Most RAM is used for ARC .. is there something else hogging it?

Hi,

FYI, just updated from TrueNAS 12.0-U5 to TrueNAS 12.0-U5.1; everything is working well except lost the DISK details into the panel Storage / Disks ????, ... No data to display.

Same result on 2 servers running under VMware 6.5

I had one issue after upgrade from 5.0 to 5.1. Handling of NFS permissions is slightly diffferent, which caused some clients unable to connect. Had to change my permissions setup slightly to regain NFS access.

That is most of 1TB of RAM being consumed.. wow.
It must be a bug... can you report a bug with debugs and the list of services being used.
