Hello,

I am new using TrueNas. So far it's been great for keeping my files but I was wondering: Is it possible to use TrueNas as also a compute provider? I would like to use truenas to spin my VMs and Kubernetes Clusters inside TrueNas to host web applications... to have "my own private cloud for compute? Is that possible? Is it possible to rely on VMs on Truenas to do this? Tks.

Yes, it is, both Core and Scale support running VMs in them. Just be sure you have enough CPU and memory and fast I/O to run it all on.

Also, be sure you have a decent firewall if you plan to open up anything to the internet, to filter your traffic and block malicious countries.
