TrueNAS-12.0-U8.1 - on reboot ipmi & igb1 connections are causing network to stop working

Very odd issue here.

Recently shutdown server to go on holiday for ten days. The server had previously been running seamlessly for 50+ days without issue.

On reboot today I have discovered that I can only have igb0 connected for the network to function. If I connect either or both of igb0 or the ipmi connection, the network fails. If I then unplug them, the network comes back up on it's own.

Have rebooted several times to no avail.

Any ideas?

UPDATE: couldn't work out what the issue was so have updated to TrueNAS-13.0-U4. All looking good now.

Without more details about you network setup it is difficult to tell. You are not trying to use two interfaces in the same LAN simultaneously, are you? That will not work.

Patrick, many thanks for taking the time to respond. No, I wasn't doing that. Odd behaviour, perhaps it was in some sort of loop.

Update to 13 has fixed it though.
