Trouble with windows10 virtual machine

I am trying to install win10 as a virtual machine on Freenas 11.3.
I have virtio-win-0.1.217.iso and Win10_21H1_x64.iso. I do everything like on tutorials. I connect through VNC. The win10 installer starts. Installs with virtio drivers (as shown in the tutorials). The installer finds the disk on which windows is to be installed, then the VNC connection breaks down and I can't get to the virtual machine anymore.
Someone help?

In the past Windows installations crashed for me if I did not explicitly set the block size for the virtual disk device to 512. I don't know if that is still the case but it's worth a try.

I can't find where to set block size for the virtual disk device :(

Click the 3 dots next to the device. You'll find the block size here:

Can you try a different version of the VirtIO drivers? 0.1.185 worked well for me.
