Transmission Firewall Question?

I have Transmissions and Openvpn installed on 9.10.2-U6 version of Freenas and working OK.

My question is:

With the firewall loaded "ipfw.rules" it does exactly what it's supposed to do and stops any torrent connection if the Openvpn fails, but I receive continual annoying console screen messages approximately one every minute.

Code:

Transmission_1 transmission-daemon [xxxxx]: couldn't connect socket 21 to xx.xx.xx.xx, port xxxxx (errno 13 - permission denied) (net.c:298).

If this is normal, how can I stop the console messages?

If it's abnormal could anyone offer a solution to stop the messages?
