Transmission error

Hello. Recently a problem has developed with transmission where it tells me... "

Error: Unable to save resume file: Permission denied​

"

I noticed this started happening since i "Set permission recursively" on my RAID array. I did this becuase occasionally I'd be unable to write to the "Downloads" directory. In the past if i "Set permission recursively" on the "downloads" data set, it would fix the issue. So i just figured maybe doing the same thing higher up would stop the problem completely. But now its worse :(

How can i fix this?
