Transmission download folder permissions

I currently have transmission set up to download to a media folder inside its jail and that folder is set as a destination for a mount point to a folder in the main environment, which is also the source for a mount point in nextcloud and is shared through smb. Both the smb share and mount point chain work, but I cannot download to the media folder from transmission. The error said that it was a permissions problem.
