Transmission 4 Plug-In Update?

Greetings...

I'm wondering if the Transmission Plug-In will be updated to the 4.xx release. I know that 4.00 was released on February 8th, and 4.01 (the bugfix) was released on February 23rd. Right now, the Community Plug-Ins is still at version 3, and when I tried a pkg update/pkg upgrade, there is no update.

Ok.... maybe they are waiting until they are sure all the defects of Transmission 4 are out. Like there is a problem with Transmission 3....

What exactly do you need that you are so eager to update?
I haven't paid attention to the version of my transmission for a long long time because I only really need two things out of it, either download from .torrent files or magnet links. I reckon I can probably run version 2 and be totally fine.

Good question... there isn't a "need" for the newest, just that, per the release notes, it uses resources more efficiently, etc,etc. Transmission 3 was released in May 2020, and I try to run as close to "latest" to avoid any potential security issues, although I still stay away from "bleeding edge".
