Transmission 2.90 listening port is closed

I just upgrade Transmission plugin, and while my router is forwarding udp and tcp on a specific port to the transmission jail IP, the transmission GUI setup shows the port is closed.

In the prior plugin release it would say it was open.

Anyone else experiencing this issue?

Is it still the right port or did your jail change ip addresses?

Hmm, I'm noticing the same thing on two different installs. Maybe someone should post a bug to transmission's bug tracker

Having the same issue. Just upgraded to transmission-2.90-amd64

An external port checker shows it's open for me, so maybe it's just a false reading?

Could be a false reading but I see download speeds are significantly lower, which is why I'm not sure.

hmm, could be a problem then. I can confirm the same behavior on a freebsd 10 jail using package. I guess next we should see if this issue is isolated to freebsd or affects Linux/Mac as well.

Reboot server or jail and see if it keeps doing it.. Mine shows open now..

no reboot here and it shows open as well. maybe this version just takes longer to do its check?
