Let me start off by saying I am new to freeNAS, so please forgive me for the lack of knowledge. Several months ago I decided to install freeNAS. After reading numerous posts in the forums and several guides, I played around for a week to familiarize myself with the software. I perfected my setup and everything was running well until today.
I noticed there was an update available. I started the process, updating from 9.10-STABLE-201605021851 to 9.10-STABLE-201605240427. Once the server installed and rebooted, I tried to transfer a file over a CIFS share. The speeds went from 8mb/s down to 400kb/s. So far I have tried the following:
- shutdown server
- deleted & recreated the CIFS share
- removed & added mapped drive on Windows
- ran a dd [20971520000 bytes transferred in 3.699596 secs (5668597438 bytes/sec), 20gb @ 5.67gb/s]
I tried to search for any post related to this issue with the update, but was unsuccessful... so I am here in hopes someone can help.
