Hi all,

is anybody else seing this? Nameserver configured statically and clearly visible in "Global Settings", yet "Network Summary" shows "Nameserver not configured" and /etc/resolv.conf is empty but for the search domain.

To fix one needs to enter "Global Configuration", change something, click "Save", then change it back, click "Save" again.

Net effect is that TrueNAS loses its AD connection ... :frown:

I already created an issue in JIRA:

Yes, I saw this when I created a static bridge. Despite Global Configuration having my preferred IPv4 DNS servers, on reboot, only the IPv6 DNS servers showed up. Adding a double entry of one of the IPv4 DNS servers, saving, and deleting the double entry got my IPv4 servers back. This seems to have survived a reboot since this two-step tango. Funnily enough, /etc/resolv.conf has the correct order, but Network Summary insists on listing the IPv6 servers before the IPv4 servers, despite the order in Global Configuration.
