We got this NAS from IX and everything has been working but we noticed some issues with the GUI and everything not working. I now have this narrowed down I believe but need help with this. I believe during the setup this wasn't done correctly and we missed it.

When I do a DF-h on this NAS I get the following:

So how is this so small? I don't understand this. When I check other NAS's I get what I would expect:

So is this fixable? What can be done here? Because of the space being full now the load is very high. The other side is that this NAS isn't even close to full.

Should this NAS TANK and tank/jails not be the size of the actual tank? (Picture of the tanks)

So basically my question is 1. Why are the sizes so small, with why is it full. 2. How can I fix this?

Update: I finally got into the web and saw the volumes but this doesn't make any sense:

So I don't understand how Top level tank is 39.3 with 60% used but tank below it is 41.9 with 100% used. The Veeam (40.6 Used) isn't right either. It's a iSCSi presentation of 40 TB however, it's only using 24TB.

So I did a unmap command and that should have given the space back but even then it was never at the 40 TB I'm seeing used for that zvol.

So I'm wondering where we went wrong here and what we can do to resolve this now, and why the top level still has 25.7 TIB available but Im at 100% everywhere else.

Ended up having FreeNAS support come through for me here.

Explanation in case others have this issue:

So I hit the reservation on the my Data set and that caused this to fill beyond and hence why I had the issues even though the space wasn't fully used. So in otherwords don't make a zvol higher than your data set because if it fills youre in big trouble. I'm not having to migrate data off and delete that zvol and put it below the reservation.
