In case there are any other newbies who have a similar problem, my Cloud Sync task for OneDrive was failing, with the error message and log showing that OneDrive or rclone were reporting a time discrepancy between Microsoft's OneDrive system and my server. I then realised that the system time for FreeNAS was out by two hours.
The NTP Servers tab was showing three servers but I thought I'd try to find one for this region (Australia). On the 'net I found a list of Australian NTP pools, which gave me a domain name 0.au.pool.ntp.org and I added that with Prefer checked.
Then I ran the Cloud Sync task again and it is now running.
