Hi there,
I got a weird issue with one of my pools where the system is refusing to mount an encrypted child dataset after switching from password to a key.
The current setup of the pool in question looks like this:
When ever I reboot my system, "Main" gets mounted without any issues but "Main/Data" ends up locked and has to be unlocked manually using the key I downloaded when switching over to the Key encryption instead of password. The issue also persists if I inherit the encryption from parent. In that case my dataset ends up in the "Locked by ancestor" state.
My TrueNAS Scale system has the following specs:
Apps gets mounted just fine, that pool isn't encrypted though. If there are log-files that would help with finding the solution to my strange problem, please let me know and I will hand them in. :)
