sync=always or sync=disabled - does it require reboot to take effect?

As the title says, do you need to perform a reboot to apply the changes?

Answered my own questions....

Here is a quick test.
10Gb iSCSI link with jumbo frames:

Sync=disabled:

Sync=Always:

A fast write biased SSD or NVMe storage configured as a SLOG for FreeNAS will fix that right up!
