SuperStorage 6028R-E1CR12L

I have a SuperStorage 6028R-E1CR12L that was stripped for parts awhile back, and I figured it would be a fun project to rebuild and get working.

But being completely new to TrueNAS, and never have worked on server hardware / controllers before, this project is really my excuse to try it out.

With this chassis/setup work with TrueNAS? Before I dive into the depths of my rusty skills and beat my head against a wall?

To answer my own question...

TrueNas installed fine as far as I can tell. Just waiting on new drive sleds to arrive so I can actually test it. That particular motherboard and sas controller were already configured to IT, so I didn't have to do anything at really. Everything installed as is out of the box which was nice.

It's pretty standard server hardware from the most popular manufacturer around here. The only oddity is that it's dual processor, which doesn't really impact compatibility.
