I have not been around a while because my old system has been rock solid. I am not up to date on my knowledge so once again I am asking for your help on refreshing the system in my signature. I am open to any sugestions you may have. Here is the direction I am looking to go.

Supermicro X12STH-F
Intel Xeon E-2336
Undecided brand 32Gb DDR4 EEC RAM



Old System:
Supermicro X9SCM-F-O Intel E3-1230V2
Kingston KVR16E11K4/32 DDR3-1600(4x 8GB) ECC (bought when Kingston was a good brand)
IBM ServeRAID M1015
RAIDz2 10X Western Digital Caviar Green 3 TB - WD30EZRX(wdidle3 is your friend)
Corsair 760 Watt AX760
Antec Nineteen Hundred

As discussed with respect to the (lack of) update of the hardware recommendations, there's no clear good option right now.

What is the use case and why do you want to refresh your current system?

The usage should have been the first thing I mentioned. I use this server for home use for 3 people. Sometimes I will host various game servers for a hand full of people. I hope this refresh will last me 10 years as well.

I can't get it to boot or get into the bios. I know I can roll back the date and update the bios. I see an opportunity to upgrade.
