I am receiving a message that the web interface cannot be accessed. Do I have a compatibility issue? Options?
On the console setup under item 1 I have:
ixl0
ixl1
Removing the settings for either interface does nothing.

Do you have a DHCP server running on the network? Have you tried setting a manual IP address?

I do have a DHCP server running on the network. I am running Pfsense. Do I set the IP address in Pfsense or somewhere on the console setup?

I may have found the problem. The manual references the ethernet ports as X11SPM-F: Marvell 88E1512

I tried setting a manual IP address in PfSense and it didn't work.
That is not what I mean. That is merely an indication to the DHCP server that a given device should be given a lease for a specific address. Please set a static IP in the TrueNAS server.

Not really, the 88E1512 is just a PHY for the Intel X772 NIC integrated inside the PCH, meaning that it tends to have little influence on compatibility.
