They are very similar, but not quite the same, as I understand it.

I purchased it when it was $109.99 after rebate a few weeks ago. If you do not use a Supermicro motherboard, you will need the front control cable 16pin split (Part number CBL-0084L)
(not included) is needed for the front panel connector to the mb.

You can always make your own splitter with dupont cables for less than $1.00
