stripe , spare ,cach , log ?

Hi guys,


I have a new system. 4 harddisk x 3 = 12TB raid z , now i want install new hard with 2 tb but not the same Volumes , what is the deferent between stripe , spare ,cach , log ,

another Question can i use harddisk to the volume but not the same size ? i have another harddisk 240G SSD can i use in the my first volume ??

Depending on context, cache is either ARC or L2ARC. 'log' typically means ZFS Intent Log (ZIL or SLOG).
