I have the following setup in storage. It's a Raid5 pool (5x4TB). Whats up with my Pool reporting 18.1 TB (with 2.4 TB available), while my dataset reporting 14TiB. Is the pool not account for the space thats "lost" in replication?

I guess that sort of makes sense with the math 18.1 TiB becomes the expected 20TB, 14 TiB becomes the expected 16tb (15.3), I guess it's a little confusing since you expected all your datasets combined to equal the volume size, but I guess that isn't the case here.

It isn't RAID 5, it's RAIDZ1. They're similar, but not the same. But that said, you've figured it out--the first entry lists the "raw" capacity of your pool--the total capacity, in TiB, of all your disks. The second entry is the dataset, and it's shown with the "net" capacity--the amount available for use, with parity deducted.

Your pool looks very full--you want to keep it under 80% full for best operation. Suggest you look into either expanding the pool, or removing some data.
