I followed this guide -

https://forums.freenas.org/index.ph...te-data-from-one-pool-to-a-bigger-pool.40519/

as ive just installed 4 X4TB dives in RAIDZ1 configuration.

My question is why is there a size miss-match from the old to the new?

Thanks

Replication is now complete and all data has been copied to the new volume, there is now a 76.74Gig difference between pools with the exact same data on. Is this because the old volume was mirrored and the new volume is RAIDZ1?

Yes - this is most likely the reason for the size difference. I noticed something similar on data that was replicated between pools with different layouts.

I was overly paranoid about it, and went so far as to compare checksums of all my files.
