Storage Allocation

After doing some searching with my issue and not finding a clear answer, I figured I would ask. Have had my freenas box running well for the past year to the point that I barely touch it. After visiting it recently I have noticed that my available storage has changed somehow (if my memory serves me correctly). I could of sworn I originally had a little over 7TB of storage....4x4TB drives in RAID 10. Now its showing on 4TB, am I losing my mind or have I done something? Any help would be appreciated. I am on version 9.3

I assume you mean striped mirrors? there is no "raid 10" in freenas.

Care to take a screenshot of your "storage" in the GUI so we can see your setup.

It looks fine to me. You've used 3.4TiB and have 3.6TiB free.

Where do you get 4TB?

What @gpsguy said. FreeNAS defines the "Used" category by how much space your data is taking up and the "Available" as how much is remaining after you take the total storage available and subtract what is already being used. Essentially, you "remaining" space.

I'm just rounding up....So after @gpsguy's reply I am just using roughly half the space then? If that's the case, guess I am just used to the windows world too much. ;-)
