Step-by-Step Instructions to Upgrade 12.0-U8.1 to 13.0-U2 with Passphrase Encrypted Dataset

On 12.0-U8.1 I have a passphrase encrypted dataset named eds (unlocked at the moment).
The pool that holds eds is not encrypted.

I want to upgrade to 13.0-U2.
Does anyone know of any step-by-step instructions to accomplish this without data loss?

Oh well, I guess I'll just have to stay with 12.0-U8.1.
I've read too many stories of lost data.
Without clear instructions, I can take no chance of loosing data.
I'm going to give up on this post now.
