Stand Alone Questions

I configued a FreeNAS box running 9.2 to use as my plex media server for when I travel to places where I don't have netflix. I had the machine attached to the internet in order to do the install etc, but am now running it as a stand alone in an environment where it can't go online. For some reasons, plex will not start. I've tried to force it to start the plugin and I get the "some error occurred" message at the top.

Can the plugin run as a stand alone? If so, how?

I'm a NOOB so if there's another log with more details that I need to post here please help me find it and if it just can't be done, please let me know.

Afaik the ethernet-adapter from which you access the web-interface has to be in the same address range (and possibly bridge) as the jail.
You can also try disabling VIMAGE in the jail.
Freenas noob myself, so take it with a grain of salt.

Ifconfig output might be interesting.

Thank you! I have no idea what VIMAGE does, but turning it off was the exact right answer. It was so nice to have my media library up and running again!
