Stable train update says "This is not a production release, and should only be used for testing."??

Right now my TrueNAS 12 Core system told me "Updates available" in the dashboard. When I click it, it shows 12-U1 but with a "This is not a production release, and should only be used for testing. " warning. I'm on the TrueNAS-12.0-STABLE train - why I'm shown a "testing" release? It's a new Windows-like feature that users will be sent code still in testing as updates? Or is this a bug?

Ah, OK, found it as the last line of the 12U1 release notes....

"This warning is a result of the Enterprise train not being activated yet and can be safely ignored. This will be automatically corrected on December 22nd when the Enterprise update train is activated. "

Thank you, applying the update, then.

I just checked and I'm still getting the "This is not a production release, and should only be used for testing." warning.

But I will go ahead and disregard it.

Same here ... is this stable or should I refrain from doing the upgrade?

Hi Samuel,
Can you share some details about this bug?
I've just replaced a faulty drive with a new one and it immediately reported cksum "Too many errors", I'm wondering if it's a bug or if it's a faulty new drive.
