SSH Key Pairs WebGUI

Hi. I was trying ssh authentication via certificate. From the terminal everything works (using the classic keygen commands, etc.) I succeed in the goal. But if I try from the webgui the "automatic" login doesn't work. In particular, how do I associate a new key pair with a specific user? When I create a key pair via webgui and try to check the user's .ssh folder from the terminal, the private key is not present.
