SSH and Volume accesibility

I have a Freenas server running iscsi with Esxi 5.5 . Is there anyway the vmdk files will be accessible thru SSH? Thanks

Probably not direct, iSCSI is a block level protocol. You would have to connect to the extent to see the files inside.
