Sporadic MacOS Permissions

I've recently moved our server to TrueNAS Scale. The setup was great and everything works excellent from our production Windows 10 workstation. A handful of other Windows 10 laptops also have no issue.

However, our M1 Mac Mini is starting to have issues. I can log in, access all the directories I've assigned access to for that user, but after a short while I will lose permissions. All the folders will then have a Red circle with a minus sign indicating no permission. When I disconnect from the server, relaunch Finder, and then reconnect to the server, I have my permissions back. I've tried rebooting and restarting the services to no avail. All settings seem to be right since it works for a short while before dying out.

Does anyone have experience with this and can shed some light on this? Looking for a fix as soon as possible!

System Specs:
TrueNAS Scale 22.02.4
ProLiant DL380 Gen9
Intel Xeon e5-2698 v3 2.30GHz

256GB RAM

I have 10x6TB drives that are mirrored pairs and striped on the pool. Approximately 27TiB usable, using about 6% currently.
Permissions are being set using the Dataset Permissions and granting access specific groups. (The windows and mac users are in the same group). Permissions are set recursively. Group has rwe in the ACL editor.

Thanks in advance!
