Hey,

I have been struggling with this for about 3 months now. I have 2 plugins show OFF (Plex and sabnzb) but the thing is, they are running just fine. At first i wanted to update them and the update failed and destroyed the whole jail. So i installed it to a clean one and set everything up as i had before. At first FreeNAS showed the plugin as ON as it should but after a reboot from FreeNAS it kept saying OFF for just those 2 plugins. The couch potato that i have running is not having this problem. it shows ON when it is on and OFF when it is off. but those other two allays show OFF... this also means that updating wont work.

I still have this problem even after updating to the latest version... does anyone know what the problem is? I mean it is not the end of the world as they ARE running but it would be nice to have the update thing working and the correct status.

EDIT:
here is most of the system specs:

@Sander Jansen Do you have Plex and SabNZBD both in the same jail? I ask because your logs show both on the same IP

Thy should have separate jails...? at least i installed them just like normal and thy show up normal? stupid thing is when i create a jail... the network settings are a mess... i need to go into the jail and do: "dhclient epair1b" and so on for all my jails... else thy dont get internet but could that also cause these problems? as i had the network problem since version 9.3 or something of freenas... it hasn't been a problem until like one of the latest updates of freenas...

Did you install the plugins from the Plugins menu in FreeNAS or did you create a standard jail and then install them via pkgupdate/pkgupgrade?

If you used the plugins, it should have automatically created a separate jail for every plugin that you installed unless you mucked with some settings.

@Sander Jansen,

Have you resolved this issue? I recently starting experiencing the same issue after changing IPs. For me it also shows up off under the Installed Plugins tab. But if I go into Jails and restart the jail for that plugin it returns to on but a short while after it goes back to off and I have the following errors.

Code:
