Snapshots don't store last-modified time

I was using touch and fat-fingered a date and hosed all the last-modified times of files in a directory where the last-modified time is important. "No problem," I thought, "I'll just grab the files from a snapshot." Turns out that even though I have 180 snapshots of this particular directory, the files restored from any snapshot I choose have the same hosed last-modified date. Is that an attribute that is not captured in a snapshot?

Depends how you restore them. Clone a snapshot and you’ll see the original attributes. Roll back and you also see the original

I tried cloning various snapshots to a new dataset, but same story. The files all have the new hosed last-modified times.

EDIT - Rolling back ... same thing

This is going to have to force me to rethink my whole backup strategy. It never occurred to me that file attributes were not part of a snapshot.

I may be mistaken. There appears to be a combination of factors going on. I have to test further. Snapshots may be restoring correctly and there's an issue that somebody else may have altered the files at an unknown point in the past.
