Hi, I'm having trouble with my snapshots. I was running tests to understand how snapshots operate and I can't seem to make it work.

I've taken a full recursive snapshot of my dataset, then I deleted a file from this dataset.
The snapshot does contain the deleted file as indicated by the "used" size.

Then I cloned this snapshot to a new dataset.

I was hoping to find the deleted file in this cloned dataset, because it is the "diff" that is stored in the snapshot. But my cloned dataset is completely empy (taking 0KB).

Am I doing something wrong?

Using the rollback option does restore the file, but why can't I find the deleted file if I clone to a new dataset ?

If I think a snapshot may contains a deleted file I'm looking to restore, how can I check what it does and does not countain before rollbacking wich could compromise my data even more?
