Hello, I am running FreeNAS-9.10.1 connected to a windows 2010 AD

My shares and data sets are working as expected. Domain credentials are working fine.
I am trying to access /mnt/D_Vol/.zfs/snapshot from a windows host via the cifs share.

I have verified that the snapshots are all there when ssh'd in. I can get to the data.
The .zfs folder and snapshot are owned by root not the domain owner (domain\administrator)
The snapshot directories are owned by (domain\administrator)
Is it safe to change permissions on these folders?

Will windows previous versions start working if these are browsable?

THanks!

Snapshots are read-only. Previous versions should just work. What exactly is the problem?
