So I recently upgraded my PC (I don't think that matters) I have noticed now that my TrueNAS v12 mapped network drive I can access it.. I can read off it. But i cannot write to it.
This is becoming highly aggravating, I had zero issues with Freenas v11. I have tried searching online anything I come across is from 2015 lol.
I will supply whatever you need screen shots? blood? money? at this point I don't care all I want to do is be able to write files to my TrueNAS server like I used to be able to.

Ok so update:
After fiddling some more I got a SMB share up and running and can read write and all that.
now I have a problem lol
ALL my files and backups are currently sitting inside root StorageNAS which as I have said before I can see, I can access but because root datacell cannot be edited I cant copy, paste, rename, edit them in anyway. So how do I move them to my new current dataset windowsshare? Is it even possible? or am I looking at a total external drive backup and rewrite.

ok so another update.. seams I'm answering my own questions here..
Like I said before I got the share working, all is good.. however my only question now is How do I go about deleting my files and folders off of my root dataset? Anytime I try it just tells me I don't have access.
anyone?
