SOLVED SMB speed is 1/10 of networks speed

Hello,
My smb share transfers files at about 100Mb/s, but my iPerf speed is about 1Gb/s. Why is SMB not taking advantage of my full network speed?

I used a 10GiB Test File i keep around and dd returned: 4194304000 bytes transferred in 11.697984 secs (3585492938 bytes/sec)
So, about 3.5 Gb/s. I don't think my write speed is bottlenecking me, although my testing method may be flawed.

Ya it is, also I read you original post too quickly.. 1 GbE is 120 MBps.. your all set
